Tax season starts in January. Now is a good time to talk about tax related scams. More than half of all taxpayers utilize a paid preparer to file their returns. While the vast majority of these paid preparers are honest and ethical, there are some preparers who intentionally prepare false tax returns. We will talk about why they would do this.
